Why?

Nutrition is like Cinderella’s shoe…there is no 1 shoe that fits all!

I personally dislike the word ‘diet’ as it creates a scarcity mindset around food, so people build an idea of being hungry and unhappy.

Our mission is to help you build a healthy relationship with food and to inspire you to start listening to your body more and what foods make it feel good or bad. This is where your future begins.

What?

Speaking from experience I have tried doing the body building diet, counting my calories in every meal, restricting myself from dinners with loved ones and this works for many people especially if it’s their goal…but I was unhappy and unhealthy.

There is no right or wrong…Paleo? Vegan? Keto? Vegetarian? Mediterranean? … we believe each have something to teach.

80/20

80% Good 20% a little bit naughty…

80- We base our nutrition on eating real food sources, meaning well sourced fruits and veggies, meat that you know where it came from and how the animals were treated and learning to discard packet food and start making things yourself.

20- When it’s a family members birthday, eat cake and enjoy the shit out of it with no guilt! If you have been really good with your nutrition for 2 weeks, treat yourself to your favourite meal out for dinner one Friday night.

HOW?

We can offer you some advice that could help change your life:

  • Write down a plan with a loved one or someone you trust: this person can do it with you as support or they can keep you accountable!
  • Keep a habit tracker in your journal: this will make you feel like you get a gold star every time you tick that bad boy off at the end of the day!
  • Get onto well sourced Veg boxes! Or go to local farmers markets!
  • Meal prep so you don’t get caught short eating takeaway!
  • Seek extra help or guidance for further information (Nutritionist, PT.etc.)
  • Education!!! Start to learn about your food, and what it does to your body so then you know how to fuel your body correctly!
  • Make cooking something you enjoy!
  • Learn to value investing money into your health!
